Heat Mapping

Heat Maps

What is grabbing attention?

Eye-tracking AI solution to test visual stimuli - images and video. Used to test assets like ads, digital and physical design and websites, and instantly predict customer attention.

Attention heatmaps show which elements in your design are most likely to be noticed by your users. These heatmaps show eye movement data and not clicks like mouse tracking heatmaps. It reveals the most dominant focal point - the part that stands out the most. You can see the distribution of attention. The red and yellow colors indicate which areas get more attention.

5 Critical Questions

We run focus maps on your existing website home or landing pages to make sure the design answers these five critical questions:
  • Is the key element in your design the most dominant focal point in the heatmap?
  • Determine the order of importance of elements in your design. Does it correspond to the heatmap hotspots?
  • Is the ratio of text and image working?
  • Is there enough white space?
  • Is the content too long, image sizing right?

Focus Maps

Get the right parts noticed
Focus maps show which parts of your design are noticed or missed by the viewer within the first 3-5 seconds. If a user cannot find what they are looking for within seconds, you will lose them.

We run focus maps on your existing website home or landing pages to make sure the design answers these three critical questions:

What is your product or service?

Why should I care about it?

Where should the user go next?

Clarity

Is it easy to understand?
Cluttered design makes it difficult for important elements to stand out and to understand the main message. Clarity score shows how clear or cluttered the design is for a new user. It takes into account various aspects of your design - the amount of text, text size, and text contrast, color saturation, number of images, and their size. These ranges vary depending on the content type.

Eyes are not only the window to the soul, but they’re also the gateway to knowledge about how people gather information and what influences their actions and decisions. Today’s modern eye tracking technology allows us to gather an unrivaled amount of insight into the human mind. Eye tracking is the process of measuring eye movements to determine where a person is looking, what they are looking at, and for how long their gaze is in a particular spot. Because our eyes are one of the primary tools we use for decision making and learning, it is commonly used by researchers and businesses looking to study human behavior because it’s the only way to accurately and objectively measure and understand visual attention.
